Scott Carr has more than 32 years of commercial real estate experience in both public and private company platforms. His diverse and comprehensive background and knowledge encompass sales, leasing, development, asset management, finance, and corporate management. Scott joined Transformco Properties with the goal of maximizing the value potential of its real estate portfolio. To do so, he and his team are directing a highest and best-use strategy focused on the sale, leasing, and development of Transformco assets.
Over the course of his nearly 20 years working within the commercial real estate industry, Kirk Williams’ experience has included being a Director of Leasing for Brookfield Retail Properties in Chicago as well as the Vice President of Retail at the Lincoln Property Company in Atlanta. His background includes 14 years of retail brokerage experience at Cushman & Wakefield. In his current position, Kirk is working to drive Transformco real estate holdings toward their highest and best use nationwide. Kirk is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and is pursuing an MBA with Loyola University of Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business.
Over the course of his 20-plus years in the industry, Joe David has worked on over $3 billion of completed transactions including the direct negotiation and execution of approximately $930 million within the retail, industrial and office sectors. During his career, asset management responsibilities have paralleled his transactional responsibilities and have included overseeing leasing activity, property budgets, investor reporting, and overall operational strategy for assets. In his position at Transformco Properties, Joe is primarily responsible for the sourcing, negotiation and closing of capital transactions for the company.
In her role at Transformco, Shweta Van Beveren manages the real estate legal department. She brings over 15 years of experience practicing law with a focus on commercial real estate and finance. Shweta supports the Transformco team by providing expert counseling to help assess risk, add value, and enable informed decisions on real estate transactions. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and holds a B.S. from The Ohio State University and a J.D. from the DePaul University College of Law.
Mike Brotnow has worked in the financial field for over two decades. Prior to taking the position as CAO, Real Estate, Mike held several roles at Transformco working in Corporate Finance and the Controller Group. His responsibilities included financial planning, cash forecasting, financial systems implementations, internal controls, and processes, as well as oversight and controller functions. In his current position, Mike is responsible for real estate finance, accounting, lease administration, and cash flows including payments to landlords, jurisdictions, and vendors, as well as the operation of the corporate headquarters.
James Christensen has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience developing and executing portfolio and property level strategies including portfolio/asset management, acquisition, disposition, redevelopment, joint ventures and debt management across retail, industrial, office, multi-family and mixed-use properties.James has extensive experience managing over $15 billion of core, value-add and opportunistic real estate investments through the full investment cycle with a focus of proactive management which maximizes value and drives property performance through leasing, financial management, capital management, repositioning and disposition. In his position at Transformco Properties, James is primarily responsible for the leadership of asset management, property management, redevelopment, construction and ancillary/short-term leasing focused on developing asset level strategies that maximize value and minimize risk through the portfolio.
Patrick Fisher brings more than two decades of experience in commercial real estate capital markets to this role, having closed over $20 billion in commercial real estate financings throughout his career. Most recently, he was Head of Capital Markets for a major NYC developer and prior to that role has worked at Bank of America, Lehman Brothers, Deutsche Bank and Prudential Mortgage Capital.In his position at Transformco Properties, Patrick is responsible for all capital markets initiatives at Transformco with primary focus on developing and managing the real estate platform’s capital stack, including sourcing of debt and equity, pursuit of joint venture opportunities and process management, execution and accountability of all capital markets needs for developing and executing asset and portfolio strategies.
Zach Straebel joined Transformco in 2020 as Senior Director. Prior to joining Transformco Real Estate, Zach held portfolio management positions at Pine Tree and IRC Retail Centers. He has also worked as a Senior Associate for Alignium, a real estate investment advisor. In his current role at Transformco, he is responsible for analysis and reporting for the portfolio. Zach is also proud to be a CFA Charterholder, and a member of the CFA Society of Chicago.
